Makerspace

The TRU Library Makerspace is a space for experiential learning through hands-on doing in a safe, supportive environment.
We provide equitable access to innovative technologies at no cost to TRU community members so users can experiment, innovate, and try new things.
We also provide a platform for campus groups to host events and workshops related to making and the technologies we support.
VISION
Our vision is to create a space where students, faculty, and staff can play, learn, teach, and explore in a supportive environment that encourages innovation and experimentation.
Mission
Our mission is to nurture the Maker in those who are a part of the TRU community, improve equity through access to tools and technology, and provide a platform for the TRU community to run programming related to technology and maker pedagogy.
