Seeking Donations to the Community Fabric Stash!
We’re excited to launch our Community Fabric Stash with a call for donations!
What’s a Community Fabric Stash you ask?
The Community Fabric Stash is a new initiative by Makerspace that is part of our Sustainability Grant. The goal of the Stash is to provide TRU community members free access to donated fabric and textile materials for learning, repair, and creative purposes. The hope is that this will increase equity through access to materials and sustainability by keeping materials out of landfills and promoting the making and repair of clothing and other items.
Right now we are starting by collecting donations of materials. Materials can be dropped off at the Makerspace during regular hours, and if you have any questions please contact us.
