Cricut

A Cricut is a material cutting machine used for crafting that can cut 300 different types of materials! In Makerspace, this machine is typically used for sticker making. All vinyl materials are provided, including heat transfer vinyl for t-shirts! Use the various attachments provided to make different projects through Cricut Design Space, which is installed on all Makerspace computers.

Makerspace strives to be as sustainable as possible. Please be mindful of the materials you use and aim for 1-2 sheets per week max.

Connect to Cricut Via Bluetooth

The computers can connect to the Cricut machine via Bluetooth, but it often has issues connecting with so many computers. Here are the steps to connect:

  • Go to computer settings -> Bluetooth & devices
  • Look for Maker B72D and click Remove Device
  • Click Add Device and look for Maker B72D to reconnect
  • Enter code 0000

You may have to be on the canvas of your design before you clicked Make It. If you are not, cancel the cut and go back to the canvas.
