TRU Library Makerspace Librarian’s Report – 2024-2025 Academic Year

Hello! I’m excited to share my 2024-2025 TRU Makerspace Librarian’s Report! In March, we marked three years since we opened, and I continue to be humbled by the creativity, energy, and kindness of our students, staff, and faculty partners. Previously I’ve written these reports at the end of each term, but starting this year I’m going to do them annually each May. Since this is the first report using this schedule, it covers the period from September 2024 to the end of April 2025.

From artists creating intricate 3D figures to engineering students skillfully learning embroidery for club sweaters to education students using various technologies to enhance their teaching experiences – each day brings a wave of remarkable creations that students, faculty, and staff bring to life within Makerspace.
